A hospital nurse in the UK has been cleared of raping a 16-year-old patient in his care after taking her to the toilet.

Oliver Balicao, 34, from Bicester, Oxfordshire, denied attacking the girl at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in March, claiming the teenager initiated the sexual contact.

He was found not guilty of the rape accusation by a jury at Oxford Crown Court.

But he admitted a charge of having sex with a child while in a position of responsibility.
